This course is designed to enable participants to prevent and assess fires, manage the evacuation of personnel, and extinguish fires using the correct fire fighting equipment if the incident is judged to be safe.
This is a blended learning course comprised of self-paced e-learning and a 2 hour in-venue session.
An add-on to the Advanced Rescue - Hub, Spinner, and Inside Blade course, the aim of this module is to enable the participants to perform single rescuer advanced rescue operations, in a WTG hub, spinner and inside the blade by using industry standard rescue equipment, methods and techniques, exceeding those of the GWO Working at Heights course.
This is a face-to-face learning course comprised of a 4 hour in-venue session.
The overall objective of the GWO Sea Survival module is that participants will be able to act independently to prevent incidents, and minimise the consequences of any incidents by working safely and taking care of themselves and others while working offshore.
This is a blended learning course comprised of self-paced e-learning and a 5 hour in-venue session.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to use and inspect basic PPE, work safely at height, and perform various rescues in a wind turbine environment using standard rescue and evacuation equipment. Participants will also be able to understand common musculoskeletal injuries and how to prevent them, and be able to perform various manual handling tasks in a safe manner. This is a blended learning course comprised of self-paced e-learning and an 8 hour in-venue session.
The aim of this course is to enable participants to perform and document blade repair tasks and execute work in accordance with work instructions. This is an entry level course, and therefore doesn’t enable participants to perform repairs on major structural blade components such as spar caps or carbon fibre.
This is a blended learning course comprised of self-paced e-learning and a 5 day in-venue session.
By the end of this course, participants will be able to recognise life-threatening and other common medical conditions in a wind turbine environment, treat these safely and efficiently until further medical assistance arrives, recognise their limits as a first aider, and identify when and how to call for help.
