GWO Single Advanced Rescuer Training - Hub, Spinner, and Inside Blade

An add-on to the Advanced Rescue - Hub, Spinner, and Inside Blade course, the aim of this module is to enable the participants to perform single rescuer advanced rescue operations, in a WTG hub, spinner and inside the blade by using industry standard rescue equipment, methods and techniques, exceeding those of the GWO Working at Heights course.

This is a face-to-face learning course comprised of a 4 hour in-venue session.

Course Description

GWO Single Advanced Rescuer - Hub, Spinner, and Inside Blade (HSIB) builds on knowledge gained from the standard Advanced Rescue HSIB course to enable participants to perform advanced rescue operations as a single rescuer, taking note of different strategies and techniques and using advanced rescue equipment.

Course Entry Requirements:

  • Participants must hold valid GWO Working at Heights, GWO First Aid, GWO Manual Handling, and GWO Advanced Rescue - Hub, Spinner, and Inside Blade certificates to take this course.

  • Participants must be 18+
  • Participants will need to complete a self-declaration of medical fitness. If there is any concern about a participant's fitness to train please contact us.
  • A good grasp of English (spoken and written) is required for learning and safety reasons, such as B2 or higher on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) or equivalent.
